Jane and Pat Bryan have been successfully running retreats since 2020 – and even managed to get through Covid when everything was shut down!  We have also been running, planning, creating and educating for over 15 years.

Jane’s background is in marketing and sales before moving into the beauty industry and owning several successful salons.  She is a mentor for beauty therapists and also has a successful online membership platform.  She also runs an award winning beauty training academy in the UK, Spain and New Zealand.

Pat is a masseur and male grooming expert.  In the UK he worked at many very well known festivals.  He is the resident chef, the wordsmith and is also an amazing masseur

Creating a retreat business, severely hit by Covid, we had to learn on the job – so we teach people how NOT to repeat our mistakes!

The sleepy, whitewashed village of Partaloa is the perfectly tranquil and relaxing backdrop to our retreat.

A small shop, a pharmacy and a couple of bars reflect its laid back approach to life.

The nearby towns of Albox and Olula del Rio provide more opportunities for socialising, plus large weekly markets.

And the beautiful Mediterranean coastline is only 30 minutes away…

Our stunning retreat venue nestles on a hillside overlooking the local rambla and the majestic Sierra Los Filabres mountains.

Your first view as you turn into the driveway will take your breath away, as it did for us when we first saw it and immediately fell in love! You’ll feel, as we did, such a sense of calm and relaxation fall over you.

Lounge by the pool or on our huge sun terrace, siesta in one of our quiet nooks, enjoy one of our speciality fresh aloe vera massages by the pool or in the spa, or marvel at our magnificent clear starlit skies.

Almeria Province is still a deeply traditional area of Spain, and we celebrate not only the delicious local cuisine, but also the heritage it evolved from, the Moorish and South American influences. Plus some of our favourite dishes from our travels!

We cater for all dietary needs and preferences.

All of our meals are prepared using fresh, locally sourced produce – the best the Mediterranean coast of Spain has to offer!

Everyone one knows how healthy the Mediterranean diet is, but the secret is not just in it’s preparation or ingredients! It’s also the way it’s eaten. Eating as a family or group with lots of conversation and laughter is the secret ingredient that guarantees health!

Cancellation Policy

1. A non-refundable booking fee of £100 is necessary to secure your place and the balance is payable 6 weeks before arrival, unless a cash balance has been agreed.  

2. Your deposit is transferrable to another person for the same retreat and dates, subject to approval.

3. If the balance of the price of your retreat is not paid within 7 days of sending our invoice, we reserve the right to cancel your place, retain your payments and apply the cancellation charge set out in Paragraph 4.

4. Cancellations: We will endeavour to treat cancellations sympathetically, however, once a booking is made, considerable administration costs are incurred by us.

• • Cancellation: 4-6 weeks prior to start of the retreat: 25% refund, if a replacement can be found, less booking fee

• • Cancellation less than one month in advance: no refund

5. In the unlikely event that we would need to cancel a holiday, full refunds will be given for any money paid to Casa Torreta Blanca up to the date of the cancellation. No responsibility can be taken for travel booked or other costs incurred.

6. All medical information, physical restrictions and food allergy details must be received at time of booking. No responsibility can be taken for information not given prior to the commencement of the course.

7. WE WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE ALL TRAVELLERS TO TAKE OUT THE APPROPRIATE HOLIDAY INSURANCE COVER.

8. Monthly payment plans can be arranged for retreats. The final payment is due no later than 6 weeks before the commencement of the retreat. If the monthly payments are not paid on time, we reserve the right to cancel your place and retain your payments and apply the cancellation charges as set out in Paragraph 4
